Hello and welcome to Essential Organizing! I am Jo-Ann Donner, Trained Professional Organizer and founder of Essential Organizing, a Vancouver-based professional organizing company. I assist clients to get and stay organized so they can enjoy more time with the people and activities that are essential to them. Helping people experience greater peace of mind, ease, and joy in their lives are the motivating factors of my business.
For over 20 years I worked in busy and dynamic healthcare organizations, managing people, processes, and timelines. During that time, I helped family, friends, and colleagues organize their living spaces as a hobby. I witnessed firsthand the benefits that decluttering and organizing had on their lives. In 2015, I launched Essential Organizing with a desire to help other busy people manage their personal and professional lives more easily and with less stress.
My services include organizing any and all spaces, decluttering, downsizing, move management, and paper and electronic file management. In addition, I am available for flexible, short-term coordination of various projects as well as copy editing and technical writing.
I will help you identify your challenges and goals, assess your situation, and work with you to achieve outcomes that meet your needs and suit your personality and lifestyle. Having worked as a project manager for many years, I am a natural problem solver with a knack for thinking “outside the box.” You will learn organizing skills and together we will implement the systems that will bring more order to your life.
